Celine Dion Taking Chances World Tour
Minneapolis, MN - October 29, 2008 -- AEG Live just announced Celine Dion has been forced to postpone her show scheduled for this Thursday, October 30 at Target Center in Minneapolis, MN. Celine, who has been battling a respiratory virus for the past week, performed the second of two consecutive shows in Winnipeg last night, but left the stage weak and breathless. Her doctor stated that despite antibiotics, anti-inflammatories, bronchodilators and mucolytic agents prescribed for her condition, she has continued to worsen and he insists that she refrain from singing for the next five days, in order for her to recover completely.
Celine's next show on her Taking Chances World Tour next Tuesday, November 4th, at the United Center in Chicago will go ahead as scheduled.
Celine Dion's Minneapolis concert will be rescheduled for Thursday, February 5, 2009 at Target Center. All tickets purchased for the October 30th concert will be honored on the new date.
For fans that are unable to attend the rescheduled date of February 5, a refund will be available at original point of purchase.
