Tyler, the Creator was born Tyler Okonma on March 6, 1991. He burst onto the scene as the founder and front man for the collective Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All, overseeing the release of their first album in 2008.

In late 2009, Tyler released his debut album “Bastard”. Led by the title track “French”, it was placed 32nd on Pitchfork Media’s list of the Top Albums of 2010. In 2011, Tyler released “Goblin” on XL Records. The album, which was led by singles “Yonkers” and “Sandwitches”, entered at number five on the Billboard Hot 200 and number two on the Bilboard R n’ B Chart.

With the success of “Goblin” Tyler toured the world, playing over 300 shows in 2011 and 2012.

His third album “Wolf” was released in 2013. Containing instrumentals that he had been working on since he was 15, “Wolf” received critical acclaim and Tyler toured the US, Europe, Australia, and Japan in support of the album.

2014 marked the 3rd time that Tyler held the Annual Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival in Los Angeles, California. It was headlined by Pharrell, and featured other top names in hip-hop and contemporary music.
