The Los Angeles Kings began play in 1967 as an expansion club.  The team initially called the Forum in Inglewood home before the world-class STAPLES Center opened in 1999.  In recent years, the Kings have won their first two Stanley Cup championships (2012 and 2014).   With one of the youngest core groups of players in the NHL, the Kings are ready to compete for another Stanley Cup championship in 2015-16.  The Kings have had more than 600 players appear in a game and six men – Rogie Vachon, Marcel Dionne, Dave Taylor, Wayne Gretzky, Luc Robitaille and Rob Blake – have had their jerseys retired.  For more information on the LA Kings, visit LAKings.com
