The official band of summer, The Dirty Heads announce their Cabin By The Sea Tour with tickets on sale 4/20.  The North American headlining dates, featuring The Expendables and Big B as support, will take the band around the country, sharing their intriguing mix of underground hip-hop, post-modern reggae, and riff-driven rock with fans.  The Tour kicks off in Austin, TX on June 21st. Before the tour kicks off, fans can expect to start hearing the band’s current single and title track off their latest album “Cabin By The Sea” on radio stations across the country.  Check out the video for the single here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MP2FrFBGEfs. The band is currently featured on Guitar Center’s Podcast hosted by tastemaker, Nic Harcourt. Listen here: http://gc.guitarcenter.com/podcast.

In every city on the tour, The Dirty Heads are offering a very limited amount of VIP packages for purchase.  The bundle includes a ticket to the show, VIP early entry into the venue, exclusive meet & greet with the band + official laminate, photo of the band, collectible silkscreened tour poster (numbered + limited edition), as well as an exclusive tour merchandise item.

The Dirty Heads, “One of the year’s best new bands” as dubbed by Rolling Stone, released their sophomore album Cabin By The Sea to much fanfare last year with just about everyone naming the album the perfect summer soundtrack.  The album featured Matisyahu, KyMani Marley, and Del the Funky Homosapien and debuted on the Billboard Top 20 and peaking at #8 on iTunes overall music chart, #4 on iTunes Alternative chart and #3 on iTunes Independent chart.  The break out single off their debut album “Lay Me Down” was an instant radio hit, spending eleven straight weeks at #1 on the Billboard Alternative chart, more than any other single that year by an independent artist.
